The Kashiwano area, where this house is situated, has a tranquil ambiance with the remaining Machiyas, a testament to the flourishing Nishijin textile industry during the Taisho period. Here we presented this Kyomahchiya sitting among the row of 4 connected townhouses.

Close to historical landmarks such as the Golden Pavilion (Kinkakuji Temple), Kitano Tenmangu Temple, and Daitokuji Temple, this location allows residents to immerse themselves in Kyoto's rich history. From the nearby Funayama Square, you can witness the famous Gozan-no-Okuribi (Mountain Bonfires) in the summer.
